Scientific integrity
No parlor tricks or stage magic. Our scenarios reflect investigative workflows, including chain of custody, contamination controls and empirical analysis.
Founded by scientists and educators dedicated to making complex analytical thinking accessible, memorable and actionable.
Award-winning hands-on CSI workshops, Level 3 BTEC curriculum support and corporate team-building events are delivered on-site across England, Wales and Scotland by professional forensic scientists.
From our headquarters in South Yorkshire, Sci-High Forensics brings investigation equipment, crime-scene scenarios and Crown Court trial role-play to school halls, college laboratories and business venues. Over the past decade, the workshops have engaged tens of thousands of participants, from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5 and vocational college cohorts to corporate leadership teams.
Sci-High Forensics began with a simple observation: science education can be too confined to theory, while team-building can lack substance. Forensic science, with its interdisciplinary, evidence-based approach, creates a powerful way to build curious and rigorous minds.
Founded by professional forensic scientist Jon Bates, Sci-High Forensics aims to turn abstract textbook theory into experiential learning that builds critical thinking and practical analytical skills.
Every experience is designed to be engaging, responsible and grounded in the care that good science demands.
No parlor tricks or stage magic. Our scenarios reflect investigative workflows, including chain of custody, contamination controls and empirical analysis.
Every procedure is considered through comprehensive risk assessments and non-toxic consumables, supported by up to £5M public liability insurance.
From your first enquiry to the post-event debrief, our team keeps logistics clear, responsive and reliable.
Sessions are tailored to the audience, learning level and event goals, with hands-on techniques that make evidence-based thinking tangible.
Interactive, curriculum-aligned CSI Whodunit workshops for Key Stages 2–5 connect biology, chemistry and physics with criminalistics. Practical activities include latent fingerprint extraction, footwear impressions, DNA profile interpretation, ink-paper chromatography, physical-fit analysis and digital mobile phone record investigation. Up to 60 students per half-day or full-day session.
Full-day practical modules support post-16 vocational assessment criteria and unit learning outcomes. Activities can cover crime-scene protocols, chain-of-custody documentation, forensic photography and analysis of bloodstain patterns, saliva, firearms discharge residues and presumptive drug tests. Criminology and psychology sessions can include suspect interviews, charging, psychological evaluation, victimology and legal procedure. Up to 40 students per full-day session.
The Aggravated Burglary Whodunit challenges teams to analyse physical evidence, compare suspect timelines and present arguments in a mock Crown Court. The shared investigation is designed to practise cross-department communication, collaborative problem-solving and awareness of cognitive bias. Suitable for 10 to 30+ attendees in a 2–3-hour event.
